How to pull off thigh-high leather boots

accreditation

I finally have a new look post for you guys! So as you may know, if you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (@emmajanementeath, emmamenteath), I was in Paris last week with ELLE South Africa for some exciting projects, a.k.a. shooting and interviewing Kristina Bazan; and now I am in London running around meeting clients.

So, life has been a bit of a whirlwind.

Today’s look features two of my current must haves:

1. My leather thigh-highs from Witchery, which a) never fall down the leg like most annoying pairs of thigh-highs and b) are so comfortable I could wear them all day without my feet hurting.

I’ve been searching for a pair of thigh-highs for years now and I’m glad to say I finally found my dream pair (p.s. they come in grey).

2. My second must have is this pleather skirt from local fashion blogger, Brett Robson's latest collection. The mesh detail adds that extra touch that’ll take your outfit to the next level.

I’ve worn mine to castings with a simple black tee, and I’ve worn it to work with turtle necks, and I’ve worn it to parties with a tight lace top and a leather jacket. It’s a versatile piece that can be worn in so many ways.

For today’s look I teamed my thigh-highs and pleather skirt with a cotton knit from Zara for a casual, yet elegant look. It’s a look that is formal enough to wear to the office, but at the same time casual enough to wear to lunch with friends.

Tip: Make sure you show a little skin between your boots and your skirt, it adds just the right amount of sexiness.
