Over the weekend the Mother City hosted the 151st L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate at the Kenilworth Racecourse. The annual event was a spectacular showing of high fashion, superb entertainment and the Cape’s finest wines.
More than 8000 people attended the event among those the new Miss SA , Melinda Bam, Ernie Els, Jo-Ann Strauss, Graham Smith and his South African Cricket Team, Chelsea Davy, Jen Su, and Tracy McGregor.
And because everyone needs a little competition or there wouldn’t be a reason to get all dolled up , plus no-one to upstage. The “Best dressed” award was won by Darielle Robertson and the “Best hat” was taken by Kia Johnson.
