Reese Witherspoon's wardrobe malfunction

When I was a teenager, my mother introduced me to two of the most unsightly garments I've ever owned: an under skirt slip (which stuck awkwardly to my thighs because of static electricity), and a camisole (which really doesn't add padding for my slightly small breasts). I'm not sure if anyone even wears these items anymore but since the sheer trend has caught on, I've seen why we need these slips of fabric – because a pasty just isn't as effective.

So if you're a celebrity, surely you're aware that the camera flash is going to reveal everything to the world. Including your bra under a "used to be sheer but is now see-through" top. And, since you know that the photos will be splashed all over the internet the next day, it would make sense to avoid this potentially embarrassing situation, wouldn’t it? How could Reese – a well-seasoned actress and paparazzi target – not see this coming?
