We seriously need this monochrome jumpsuit in our lives

The past two months have been an exciting time for me as a Consumer Science (Fashion Retail Management) student and a competitive ground for our local retailers.

We saw the announcement of Pharrell Williams in partnership with Woolworths as Style Director, Legit dropped a collaboration with Punk & Ivy and just the other day Mr Price had a denim party in Braamfontein inviting the most influential social media individuals while rolling out a cool denim campaign on their online store while creating a consistent voice throughout the whole campaign.

All these retailers share a consumer at some point, that consumer also being me. Lately, I have been minding my own business all because it is exam time for me.

I have been laying low. See, I work on a reward system when I study, whereby after two exams, if I feel I studied enough and I did best in that exam I spoil myself to some shopping, not a shopping spree but maybe a pretty dress or a new pair of shoes (sneakers preferably). This time around I bought myself this jumpsuit from Legit from the Punk & Ivy range.

It had me because of the gold detail buttons. See, jumpsuits are not my thing, but I was willing to go through the trouble for this jumpsuit, all because I love it and it looks vintage.
 
After my cool Instagram #StylistSiki series where by I wore 1 item three different ways, I've had this fixation of wearing an item not in the most predictable way, see how I am wearing the printed joggers from the Punk & Ivy range as a head scarf. I guess there are levels to this creativity.

I gallivanted the streets of Cape Town with Johnson (AKA: Tsoku) to take snaps of this jumpsuit.
