Zendaya calls out fashion mag for retouching curves

accreditation
Zendaya Coleman has never been shy to stand up for what she believes in, especially when it comes to her appearance.

The 19-year-old actress recently shared her disappointment on social media, after Modeliste Magazine decided to alter her body, showing a skinnier version of herself, in its latest magazine shoot.

The actress turned to Instagram to express her outrage by posting the photoshopped as well as  the original image side-by-side.

Along with the image, she wrote that these retouched photos perpetuate body-shaming and self-hate.

Modeliste Magazine’s editor, Amy McCabe wrote an open letter to address the controversial issue by stating that the images were edited by an independent editing company.

McCabe decided to pull the issue until the issue was rectified.

We applaud Zendaya for standing up and promoting body positivity.
