Chanel first to hold international fashion show in Cuba after 57 years

Cigars, colours, Castro and communism. Just a few things we associate with Cuba and its capital, Havana.

The rich culture and history of Cuba is what inspired creative director of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld's 2017 Cruise collection. Vibrant in colour and design the collection speaks on the one side to the young revolutionary while celebrating the Cubans' love for anything eclectic.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and CR Fashion Book editor Carine Roitfeld were among some of the celebrities in attendance.
