How to revamp your wardrobe for winter

accreditation
Our editor, Lili Radloff, had the whole Tracy Gold makeover experience.

Lili wanted a fun, feminine and easy-to-wear look.  Together with her team of professionals, Tracy set out to give Lili a fabulous pampering day while giving her the skills to recreate her new look every day.

Lili’s wardrobe revamp:
Sadly, our lovely editor lost most of her winter favorites when her suitcase was stolen on a trip, leaving her with a depleted winter wardrobe and a few summer dresses

Tracy taught Lili the art of layering, which turned her favorite summer dress into a stylish winter outfit.  Since Lili had a number of beautiful dresses, all she required were a few basic layering items to give her a variety of fun winter outfits.

To keep the shopping trip focused and cost effective, Tracy helped Lili make a shopping list of the items she needed to create the desired look without exceeding her budget.

Lili’s list comprised of:
•    A chocolate brown long sleeve top to wear under her dresses;
•    Chocolate brown tights or leggings;
•    A pair of long brown boots;
•    A brown or taupe winter coat;

Pick a colour that will work with the items you currently have in your wardrobe, says Tracy. In Lili's case, we went with brown as her neutral colour since it went with most of the dresses she already had.  This can be done with any neutral colour.
