Whether its soap scum or dirt that just doesn’t want to budge, a glass shower door may be one of the most frustrating things to clean. And to top it all off, most shower cleaners don’t work half as well as they promise!
Here are three DIY ways to clean your shower, without spending a fortune.
• Instead of buying expensive shower cleaners, make your own. Mix half a cup warm water and half cup of white vinegar, spritz onto the shower doors and wipe clean.
• To remove soap scum, rub a dryer sheet over your glass shower door to clean up soap scum. No need to wet the sheet or even the glass; the soap scum will vanish in seconds! Dryer sheets are durable, gauze-like tissues that can be put into dryers to eliminate static cling, soften clothes, and add fragrance.
• When your shower is completely dry, use half a lemon to rub away and remaining dirt build up and scum.
