Woman thrown off plane for singing: VIDEO

Houston – We have a Whitney problem. We’ve all had that moment when that song gets stuck in your head and you’re caught out in public humming along to it, or sometimes even singing out loud, but I doubt many take it to this extreme.

A woman aboard an American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to New York started her solo act, singing Whitney’s ‘And IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII will alwaaays LOOOOOOVVVEEEEEEE yoooouuu!’, not long into the flight. It soon became so unbearable that the pilot was forced to change course halfway through a six-hour flight and make an unscheduled stop at Kansas City so that officers could escort the woman from the plane.

The airport spokesman, Joe McBride, says: “The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew.

“There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane.”

And, thanks to smartphones, we have a video for you viewing pleasure. Taken by another passenger even though they were told not take any photography. The video shows the woman still singing (rather badly, I might add) as she’s being escorted from the plane in handcuffs. The woman was interviewed and later released without charge.
