You won't believe what this hotel lets you hire

They’re considered man’s best friend – always there to cheer you up when you’re sad.

So it’s only fitting you’d want to have your four-legged friend with you on those long, lonely business trips or family vacations.

One hotel is allowing just that and has opened its doors to cute canines of all shapes and sizes.

According to Metro.co.uk, Hotel Nikko in San Francisco, in the United States, offers a special pet package to guests who want their pooch to join them during their stay.

The package will set you back a cool $50 (R618) and includes a plush dog bed, food and water bowls, as well as a pet placemat.

But it gets better.

The doggy package also includes a welcome bag, toys, dog waste bag dispenser and tennis balls.

Sounds lovely!

And that’s not even the hotel’s best feature.

Lonely Planet writes that guests who are unable to bring their pets along, can book a cuddle with the hotel’s resident dog and COO (Canine Operating Officer), Buster Presutti Posey.

Buster is a two-year-old Maltese and Yorkie mix who works at the Hotel Nikko. He greets guests at reception, shares kisses and hugs with those he takes a liking to and even plays with the visiting dogs. Talk about customer service at its finest!

Whenever Buster is in need of a dog-nap, his best friend Tamago steps in as substitute.

The hotel also offers dogs a stay on the VIP (Very Important Pet) floor, Travel and Leisure adds.

We can’t begin to imagine the barking madness that exists on that floor.

Buster has become somewhat of a celebrity, racking up more than 6 000 followers on his Instagram account, @nikkopupsf.
