Not having a Halloween party? No dressing-up or trick or treating for you this year? That doesn't mean you cannot get into the Halloween spirit just for fun.
These Halloween flowers add the perfect amount of scariness to your home without turning your living room into a graveyard.
You will need:
• orange flowers
• Halloween banners (at some party stores)
To make:
Scatter your orange flowers and then position your Halloween banners for maximum visibility. Add sticks to give it a dark undertone.
TIP: Put the flowers into a dark tinted jar and add tree barks to float within the flowers to make the water look mucky.
Take your balloons to a whole new level
Helium balloons always add something special to a party, no matter what the occasion! So, as you count down the days until Halloween and you prepare your kick-ass costume, why not up the ante with your balloons this scary holiday?
You will need:
• a selection of helium balloons (preferably black, orange and white)
• black insulation tape
• ribbon for tying
To make:
• Make sure you do this on the day, as close to the start of your party as possible, as the helium's effects slowly wear out after you fill up your balloons. We went to In Good Company for our helium balloons.
• Tie different length ribbons onto your balloons so you can fluctuate your faces through the room.
• Using your insulation tape create fun, scary or creepy faces onto the balloons. This is your chance to get creative so play with shapes and sizes for the scariest face possible.
