Get a Christmas tree
As opposed to the past holidays were you exchanged gifts in front of the TV, this year place them under the tree. This might take you down memory lane to when you were little but that’s the whole point. If you want to take it up a notch get an actual tree and work together at making it look good enough to get you in the festive spirit. You and your man are guaranteed to have more fun doing this and creating memories to last you a lifetime.
Take a late night drive or walk
There’s always that one house down the road that has all the Christmas decor and lights to attract people passing by. After dinner, take a stroll down the road and admire all the festive lights of the season. Take pictures and frame them for your home.
Random acts of kindness
As much as this is a joyous time for most people, there are the less fortunate who are in need of love and family especially during this time of the year. You could spend the day at the orphanage or an old age home in your neighborhood. Share your festive treats with them just as a reminder that they also deserve love and happiness during Christmas time.
Have a movie marathon
Dedicate a day where you’ll watch holiday movies together. You can never have enough quality time so use this time to catch up with one other and let go of any worries you might have. Grab your snacks and ignore the outside world just for a few hours.
Go Christmas shopping
A lot of men cannot stand the sight of shopping malls, especially during the festive season. Save him from doing this dreaded task alone and make it a joint adventure. This is the perfect time for you to show him what you want for Christmas and also help him pick the right gifts for his family.
