This 46-year-old mom who was once called “too skinny” by bullies, is now frequently mistaken for her daughter’s sister.

Shapprell Dallas, from Florida, US, has stunned her more than 21 000 Instagram followers after posting a series of side-by-side “then and now” pictures, which show how little the trim mom has actually aged.

In one picture, the mom can be seen wearing the same denim shorts and black bikini she wore at age 26 – and it’s pretty hard to tell the difference between the two.

According to The Sun, Shapprell, who owns an online coaching website, credits her incredibly toned body to working out five days a week and sticking to her lean diet – which includes cutting out fried food and alcohol.

But things weren’t always smooth sailing for the ageless beauty. Shapprell says she felt insecure about her body after being teased relentlessly in her teens for her weight, the Daily Mail reports.

“I felt insecure about different things about my body in my twenties because I was teased about my body as a kid,” she says.

“I became a personal fitness trainer at the age of twenty-one; my husband and I went into the fitness business when I was twenty-two and I never stopped working out and taking care of my body.”

The fit mom, who admits she has a new-found confidence, says she’s always managed to maintain her weight as she’s never really taken a break from exercising.

“Maintaining my weight has been easy for me because I never quit. I never take a long break from working out,” she says.

The 46-year-old reveals her self-confidence is boosted even further when people regularly mistake her for her daughter, Destiny’s, sister.

“People say we look like sisters. Wow, it's unbelievable when I hear that. She’s [almost] eighteen and I’m [almost] forty-seven,” says the fitness instructor.

“I have a new-found confidence that I didn't even know existed. I love everything about my body – including my flaws, imperfections, and weaknesses.”
