The downside about having high expectations is that there’s only a fifty percent chance that you’ll get what you had hoped for. When you’ve set your mind on a particular item, it’s hard for you to see beauty in any other item. Keep an open mind and wait for the surprise.
Know how to turn down gifts
You wouldn’t want him to be rude to you should the tables be turned, right? So, instead of rudely turning down the gift, rather thank him for thinking about you and tell him the reasons why you can’t keep it. He might give to his sister or someone who’ll put it to good use unlike it occupying unnecessary space in your house. Honesty is the best policy and he’ll definitely appreciate this.
