You two shall be each other’s fashion police. When you feel your friend’s favourite dress is making her look ten times older, you’ll be the first to call her out before anyone else makes ridicules her.
Your go-to woman
Those 3am calls or stuffing yourself with junk food after a breakup or relationship crisis, are a need. A girl’s bestie should be able to make her forget about all her problems, even if it’s just for a day.
Promise to accept her partner
You’re allowed to have different tastes in men, but you cannot judge or force them to break up with their bae. Should the relationship not work out, you’ll be her shoulder to cry on and not say i told you so.
Accepting each other’s quirks
The beauty about friendships is that sometimes you get along so well with someone who’s your total opposite. Being weird can come in different forms. It could be their loud laugh or high-pitched voice. Others may find it irritating but to you, it’s what sets your friend apart.
Keeping secrets
Of course you don’t want anyone to know your deepest darkest secrets, except for your bestie. Your bond should be so solid that you’re able to share anything without any fear of judgement.
Defend mode in each other’s absence
If you aren’t looking out for one another then you shouldn’t be calling yourselves friends. In your mates absence, no one should feel comfortable enough to gossip about her in your presence because they know it won’t end well.
