Ignoring text messages
The tone used in texts can easily be taken out of content hence it’s always best to get clarity. Not getting back to someone’s text is rude and should be avoided at all times. Your partner could be in an emergency and needed your help at the time of texting, ignoring it just says you don’t care much for him.
Using vulgar language
Regardless of whether you’re joking or not, exchanging mean words will take its toll on your relationship. This comes out as if you’re talking your partner down and have no respect for them none whatsoever. Be careful with the language and tone you both use when communicating.
Taking up all the space in bed
It’s funny when you talk about it in the morning, however if it happens constantly you’re partner is bound to wake up tired every morning and you wouldn’t want that to happen to you, right?
Having no respect for time
There’s being ten minutes late which is somewhat acceptable and then there's being two hours late which is totally unacceptable. Having to always wait on someone can dampen anyone’s mood. If you know you’re always late make sure you overestimate the time you’ll need to get ready and get to your meeting points.
Telling each other what to do
Remember you’re in a relationship and not babying each other. Both of you are grown ups and it’s certain that you’re able to make your own decisions. Allow your partner to be his own person and vice versa.
Being glued to your phone
If you aren’t checking social media, you're always on long phone calls. Your partner may let this slide because it’s now considered the ‘norm’ however like any other human in the long run he could feel neglected.
