Moms: How to keep that spark alive

There’s no job quite as 24/7 as that of a hands-on mom and often these days, soon after leaving the nest, the kids produce their own offspring and women go from full time moms to just about full time grans. This means that mothering becomes a lifelong vocation and most other interests suffer.

As illustrious and rewarding a career as this might be, one of the pitfalls is that we allow nurturing to take precedence over fostering the natural and healthy urges that earned us the status of motherhood in the first place.
