One man’s innocent text to his mother has unleashed a hilarious Twitter storm.
Maison Vallance shared a photo on Twitter, captioning it, "I took this picture to let my Momma know I found the shirt she got me, but Meghan is too pretty not to post it."
Instead of simply telling his mother he’d found the missing T-shirt, he decided to send a picture of his girlfriend posing along with it in bed last week.
A few minutes later, his mistake was pointed out by a friend: the raunchy-looking ropes hanging from Vallance’s headboard behind his girlfriend, according to Mirror.
Vallance hasn’t explained his bedroom habits, but the rest of Twitter is pretty certain what they’re used for.
The story has since gone viral and has been picked up by various news publications including Buzzfeed, and the picture has received over 200 000 likes.
This media attention is enough to make any parent cringe, but Vallance explained that he has an open relationship with his mother.
"She's very comfortable with me and I'm comfortable with her," he said.
In fact, he even plans to tell her about the viral tweet and see her reaction.
He predicts it will be along the lines of, "What the hell is wrong with you?"
"I think it will be funny and I'll just say, ‘Okay, let's forget about this now’," he said.
