When we talk about negative body image, and the fact that most of us suffer from it, we mostly talk about things like depression, eating disorders, anxiety and self-loathing. But what we don't talk about enough is how this unrealistic, and frankly, boring idea of female beauty negatively affects our sex lives.

Is it surprising that we sometimes don't feel sexy when we're constantly told what sexy is and isn't supposed to be?

The thing is, most men aren't very keen to buy into this "perfect body" nonsense. The vast majority of them actually enjoy and appreciate the vast majority of women. Men are usually so grateful to see a naked, happy female body that they couldn't care less about the so-called imperfect bits.
