Britney Spears ruling sexist?

The conservatorship was imposed in 2008 when Britney was admitted to hospital for psychiatric treatment. The almost 29 year-old singer’s personal, professional and financial decisions are completely in the hands of her father, Jamie Spears.

Britney and her lawyers have contested this ruling, but a L.A. judge has declared that the conservatorship may remain indefinitely.

So Britters is still declared nuts and her dad still controls her and, more specifically, her money…

We just wondered… Would this be happening if Britney were a 29 year-old man?
