So the group has once again decided to go cray cray in their latest music video, mocking the Mother Monster by featuring a male actor dressed up in her infamous meat dress.
In the video, they make no secret of the fact that they recently publicly dissed Lady Gaga, when she asked them to open her show in SA later this year.
In an interview with MTV Ninja had this to say: "Lady Gaga asked us to tour with her and we were like, um, no thanks... We like making pop music, but we like making hardcore music at the same time, mixing them, but they’ve got, like, soul. It’s not like weak, superficial shit. You know?"
And, with Gaga recently coming under fire for her weight gain, the group also makes no bones about what they think of her appearance, as the name of their song, “Fatty Boom Boom” clearly indicates.
From Yolandi Visser painted in black, with huge yellow eyes and looking like a possessed tokoloshe (if that's even possible), to well known comedian Kagiso Lediga playing a gynecologist who pulls a gooey cockroach from the Gaga character's privates, this video is disturbing on so many levels. Ew!
I get that the the zef rap group were trying to make some sort of creative statement, but it’s definitely not my type of entertainment.
