Van der Westhuizen, who has vehemently denied that he is the man in the video, met up with his lawyers to discuss the implications of Van Emmenis's claims. A few weeks later, the man who supplied the video wrote a statement of admission to Heat Magazine.
Van Emmenis admitted to Rapport that she is the woman in the pink G-string and that Joost was her client that evening.
The 29-minute sex video features a man who looks similar to the rugby hero receiving oral sex from a young dancer and sniffing white powder, which Van Emmenis claims is a drug called Cat.
Van Emmenis says she first met Van der Westhuizen at a restaurant in Pretoria in 2005 – where she worked by the name of "Jennifer". "No-one believe me when I said Joost sniffed," she told Rapport. "Everyone said I was lying. But it's the truth."
"He told me my Cat is better than his. But I did not want to supply him. I told him that I don't deal drugs," she said.
Teasers owner, Lolly Jackson, confirmed to The Times that Van Emmenis had been employed at a Teazer's Pretoria branch.
"She was asked to leave because she started dealing with customers on the outside," said Jackson.
Van Emmenis says she and two friends decided to make the video in 2006 to show that he uses drugs, that he cheats on his wife, Amor Vittone and to show that his reputation as a role model for sports players, children and Christians is false.
The former dancer says she spoke out because she was afraid she was in danger after receiving threatening SMSes.
"He told me that he does what he does because him and Amor love each other, but have an 'open relationship'," says Van Emmenis.
Van der Westhuizen has denied that he is the man in the video, saying he has a tattoo on his lower body and that he does not own Polo socks. He said, "My heart is with the Lord."
"I can not believe he brought God into this," said Van Emmenis.
