If there’s one thing people don’t like, it’s being treated like fools. For (X?) years, the rumour mill has been hinting that John Travolta might have been hiding his sexuality. So now that things are coming to a head, it looks like Travolta-gate has begun.
Think about it: Chris Brown’s career went south after he beat Rihanna up. Was it because he had such a “good guy” image beforehand? Tiger Woods still hasn’t recovered from his sex scandal. And Mel Gibson too. Even Bill Clinton couldn’t avoid it. I figure it’s the scandals were made worse because everyone fell for the clean-cut image that their PR spun about it – and when the kak hit the fan? Well, how dare you fool us all for so long!
Anyhoo, back to Travolta. Here’s how the story has developed so far:
• Three men claim John Travolta sexually assaulted them on separate occasions. Two being massage therapists and one a former cruise ship employee.
• His long time friend, Carrie Fisher once stated that everybody knows that John Travolta is gay.
• And then the late Jeff Conaway’s former wife, Vikki Lizzi, says that Jeff said in a suicide note that John performed oral sex on Jeff while he was sleeping.
• And more recently photos of John Travolta cross-dressed (not from the film Hairspray) have surfaced, they were published in the National Enquirer.
• Since the three men who claimed John Travolta wanted sex from them, more men have come forward.
• His wife of twenty-years, Kelly Preston has apparently called it quits after all the sex scandal and cross dressing pics came out.

Lets say I was married to someone for two decades and there was rumour of their sexuality (during or before the marriage), and I am a member at the church of Scientology, wouldn’t it be a good idea to recruit my partner? So as to help him with his career and with his career blooming so is my financial wellbeing. But the down side of this plan is Scientology has an unbalanced history when it comes to homosexuality, so when all the secrets come out, then there will be no need for me to carry on being the cloud cover over my partners sexuality. Right?
Honestly if John is gay, then he is gay and there is nothing wrong with being gay. Or even bi. Really now we are in the 21st century and shouldn’t Hollywood and some of the rest of us not be bothered by his choice of lifestyle and rather be focusing on his acting career instead?
