Kate Middleton’s topless pictures

accreditation
The pictures, which I think should never have been published, show the Duchess taking off her bikini top while sunbathing on vacation at a private home (though it might not be so private anymore) in the South of France.

The mag in question, Closer, published a 5 page spread that reveal Kate’s chesticles while relaxing on the terrace as Prince William rubs suntan lotion on her back.

“The last time we saw Kate and William on a balcony it was for their wedding. But they had more clothes on,” reads one of the captions in the article.

Another caption reads: “People always say she doesn’t need to dress up to look good. Well… Kate is proving this.”

This is just sad. And disgusting.

If this was just a normal every day average Jane, these pictures would have been seen as an invasion of her privacy, but, because she’s the Duchess of Cambridge, certain publications feel it’s okay to exploit her.

Royal aides travelling with Kate and William in Malaysia, during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Tour, say the couple are “saddened” by the photos’ publication.

There is also talk of legal action. The photos are an invasion of her privacy after all.

“Their Royal Highnesses had every expectation of privacy in the remote house. It is unthinkable that anyone should take such photographs, let alone publish them,” says a St. James’ Palace official. “The incident is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and all the more upsetting to the Duke and Duchess for being so,” he says.

And all of this just weeks after the whole Harry debacle.
