They lyrics lines include: “When my sister on stage, Killing it like a mother*ucker, I was in a rage feeling like a mother*ucker and went our separate ways but I was happy she was killin’ it. Bittersweet she was up, I was down. No lie, I feel good for her but what do I do now?”
Now, I will be the first to admit that it takes proverbial balls to admit to something like this, but, we all suspected some jealousy amongst the old Destiny’s Child bandmates way before it was confessed.
In her song, Kelly also admits to being abused by an ex-lover as she croons “I was battered. He hitting the window like it was me, until it shattered. He pulled me out and said, ‘Don’t nobody love you but me, not your mama, not your daddy and especially not Bey.”
This piece of information comes at a shock to me. It takes more than guts to come out with something so personal. It seems like many celebrities are coming clean with some truths, even Angelina Jolie confessed to having a double mastectomy.
I don’t know what has possessed these stars to baring the truth so candidly, but I take my hat off to them.
It’s not easy admitting it to yourself but here they are, admitting things to the world.
