Okay, it’s clear that I know why Brit-ley get each other (see what I did there?). But, why is the rest of the world so shocked?
Despite both being blonde, successful and rebellious at one stage of their lives (Okay, Miley’s still in that stage), each of them were brought into the spotlight at a very young age and faced so much more pressure because of this.
In a recent interview with Huffington post, Miley opened up about her friendship with Britney by saying: “Everyone goes through a time in their life where they don’t want their picture taken every day. She (Britney) just never had that time where she could say, ‘I’m going through something right now and need to shut down.”
I think it’s sort of sweet that Miley sees herself in the Britster as she adds on: “I also don’t have that, so it’s good to have that one person in my life that gets it.”
When asked whether the Hit Me Baby one More Time singer is a role model to her, Miley responded with, “I just think it’s never blaming you or making you feel like ‘you’ve got all this going for you,’ it’s like she knows.”
Aw, seems like Tinsel Town just might have an up-and-coming vroumance on the rise.
