Sheesh. I know Taylor dates a lot ( okay, maybe that’s a bit of an understatement), but a whore? Isn’t that a bit much?
Why the hate?
The so-called authorities on heathen behaviour and the unconverted are rallying fellow haters to “picket the whorish face of doomed America” at her Kansas City in August.
The Westbro Baptist church believes that the singer’s recent behaviour (yes, we’re talking about the serial dating) and lyric choices have contributed to the demise of morals and values in the youth of the USA.
Yes, the cutesy, wide-eyed, ‘sugar wouldn’t melt in my mouth’ girl who writes songs about all her boyfriends and tweets about having ice cream with friends is “the poster child for the young whores of doomed America.”
The church’s announcement read: “@TaylorSwift13 works her ‘girl next door’ country-singer shtick, while hopping from one young man to the next and strutting across the world stage like a proud whore.”
According to the church, John Mayer’s former girlfriend should abandon her “sin-coddling” songs and use her status to inspire and tell young women to, “Stop fornicating ladies, and obey God.”
Oi vey.
I’m not her biggest fan (her songs are quite catchy though), but I don’t think dating several men should get you the title of “whore”.
