Elijah Wood excited to be “Hobbit” again.

Playing Frodo Baggins (the Hobbit) in the Lords of the Rings series practically made Elijah Wood a household name not too long ago, so it’s no wonder that he’s so amped up to play the much loved character once more.

His character does not feature in the original J.R.R. Tolkein novel, so it will be interesting to see just how the writers have incorporated Frodo (his character) into the script.

He said: "It will feel like travelling back in time a little. I'm very excited to see what they've done with 'The Hobbit’.”

The majority of the cast of Lord of the Rings will star in the forthcoming prequels, including Sir Ian McKellen as wizard Gandalf and Cate Blanchett as Galadriel, but Liv Tyler (who played Arwen) will not be returning for the movie.

Are you also looking forward to the next instalment of the Lord of the Rings franchise?
