The squat is one of those hard hitting, muscle building exercises that should be included in any leg day program. The benefits are multiple:

- You don't need machines or weights, since it's a body weight exercise.

- You can do it almost anywhere, since you need little space and no equipment.

- It works the large muscles in your legs and butt, so it packs a powerful punch.

- It improves mobility and balance

Do not bend knees further than 90 degrees.
