This sassy model created a Twitter account after finding out that a meme was circulating on the social media platform mocking the gap between her teeth – and her response was totally epic!

Symone Lu, who lives in New York, US, was told by friends that a photo of her had been turned into a meme showing a kid looking quite perplexed by her smile.

The 19-year-old model decided to create a Twitter acount in order to clap back at the internet troll’s unpleasant post – and that’s exactly what she did!

“I walked for Vogue though! I love my smile!” Symone wrote in reply to the meme.

Symone slayed on the runway during New York Fashion Week in September 2017 for Chromat’s spring/summer 2018 collection and the show was featured in Vogue’s runway edit.

According to the Huffington Post, the man, who’s named @Girlthatslim on Twitter, created the distasteful meme because “females” often criticise men for having “messed up teeth all the time” on the social media platform.

Her well-polished response – that taught the internet an important lesson – has been way more popular than the actual meme, racking up more than 35 000 retweets and 121 000 likes from people.

Plenty of tweeps, who resonated with her, were in full gear and ready to defend the absolutely gorgeous model.

“Love yourself. You are beautiful and your smile is breathtaking,” said one Twitter user.
