The painting in question, by Ayanda Mabulu, features Jacob Zuma receiving oral sex from a woman who is on her knees and being milked from her breasts into an ANC branded canister. It resembles The Spear, by Brett Murray, and the infamous Zapiro cartoon depicting Zuma as he is about to rape Lady Justice, in the extent of it’s being controversial.

While making important political statements about the blatant disregard for the rule of law, Zapiro and Mabulu criticise Zuma, but do so at the expense of women. Yet we seem to direct our frustration at the ANCWL?
