The Relaxation Bath

This bath is ideal for total relaxation to eliminate the stress of the day; one should first prepare the scene for a bath. You can do this by simply choosing a moment in the evening or on the weekend, where you have time available. Try and unplug the telephone and not be disturbed. There is nothing wrong with disappearing for a while to enjoy the small personal luxury of a bath, which is beneficial to relax physically and mentally, to collectively rebalance oneself.

Play some soft music, light some candles and burn a stick of incense on the edge of the bathtub. The water temperature should be between 34 and 37 degrees. (If you suffer from circulatory problems, a temperature of between 31 and 34 degrees is preferable.) Try and relax and stay in the bath for 15 – 20 minutes only, so as to not soften your skin tissues. The additional benefit of colour — where the bath water is sky blue, an enchanted green or even any colour you could imagine, will enable you to take complete advantage of the benefits of bathing.

The products that lead most to relaxation are the classic foam baths, the pearls, playful 'fizzballs', bath crystals and certain essential oils. Foam baths, offered in a large palette of colours and formulas with more or less foam; always seem to provide an invitation to dream, with a small Hollywood connotation to it. Perfumed or not, they should have a neutral pH value. The 'fizzball' or effervescent bath has a playful aspect evident. In the style of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, your are able to play the star and will see small, tiny bubbles rise from the surface of the bath causing the water to sparkle like champagne!

The effervescent ball in the gelatinous capsule will melt under the heat of the water, and the bath will transform into all the colours of the sky. When the bubbles start, relaxation will begin, slide back in the bath and allow the bubbles to massage the spinal column. Essential oils and combinations thereof provide all flavours, florals and spices to allow your imagination to run wild. Without going into detail on the virtues of essential oils, it is important to know that lavender, rose and camomile each hold strong relaxing powers. All these products leave a hydrating film on the skin, but it is advised that you dry yourself well at the end of a bath and to use a cream or a moisturising milk to nourish the skin after your bath.

The Vitality bath, or rather shower, is to be taken in the morning for a good start to the day or even in the evening in order to revitalise, as the vitality bath eliminates all the fatigue of the day and recharges the batteries. The water, for effective invigoration, must be cool, near 32 7ndash; 34 degrees (The complete opposite to the previous situation). The bathroom must also not be too warm. A good idea is for you to do some exercises first.

You can do so by playing dynamic music with a definite beat during both the exercises and the bath. If the bathtub is equipped for it, you can connect min-jets, which have an invigorating effect on the tissues. Try and even use a brush, massage glove or loofah strip to exfoliate your skin and stimulate circulation for an invigorating effect.

As for products, it is recommend that you use products that contain algae and sea salts, or certain plants such as ginseng, green tea etc. It is also advisable that you try and massage the skin, so the active ingredients can penetrate easily.
