Why would she take on this seemingly harmless health organisation? Well perhaps because the organisation was started and funded by the company that owns Evian and Volvic – two massive bottled water companies. Smell any dying fish yet?
McCartney wrote that not only does she not see high-brow scientific evidence supporting this “over drinking of water” but that setting such a high intake goal can be bad for you.
"In other words, there is still no evidence that we need to drink more than we naturally want, and there may be unintended harms from an enforcement to drink more water," she wrote.

She also said that tap water is better than mineral water and that it doesn’t pollute the earth. Salut Dr. McCartney!
