An award-winning DJ and radio presenter could contend with a protection order from his ex-wife following alleged harassment and intimidation she has suffered when the musician wants access to his children at awkward times.

The woman and the DJ, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were in a polygamous marriage. She wants the DJ to stop using abusive language when he wants contact with his children.

According to sources privy to the looming legal battle, the woman wants to interdict the DJ from directly contacting her due to the abusive nature of his communication towards her.

The source said:

Due to his persistent attempts to contact her to return the children, which have become more threatening, he should be barred from contacting her directly or contacting anyone else about her except where necessary to arrange the logistics of the children.

The source added that the woman called it quits on the polygamous setup due to the DJ’s involvement with other women who were not part of the marriage.

“In the first six months of their relationship, she was confronted at his house by a woman who purported to be his girlfriend. He denied involvement with her and arranged for her to be escorted out.

Another source, close to the DJ’s ex-wife, told City Press that she left the marriage because the DJ also failed to call it quits with another woman whom he had referred to as his ex-girlfriend.

The source said:

Soon, it became evident to her that he had a relationship with his girlfriend, and she broke up with him.
