As 2015 winds down. some of Mzansi's favorite celebrities share their hopes, wishes and dreams for the coming year.

Minnie Dlamini

TV darling Dlamini says 2016 is about making sure that everything is bigger and better. “This year was about planting seeds and 2016 is about reaping. I have an exciting year ahead. I’ll be hosting an international awards show in Nigeria. I’m just looking at expanding and diversifying.”

Zizo Beda

TV presenter and newlywed Beda, who is married to Mayihlome Tshwete, home affairs deputy director-general, has four resolutions for 2016. “I want to make time to read, take time off from work to enjoy my family and see projects that were in the pipeline in 2015 come to life next year.” In addition, she wants to grow even more spiritually.

DJ Zinhle

DJ Zinhle has only one resolution for 2016. She wants to travel the world more. The popular DJ recently told Grazia magazine that she has been thinking of relocating overseas, with Miami being at the very top of the list. “I feel like there is so much to see and do when you travel. I want Kairo [her son with rapper AKA] to experience those things.”

Mbali Motshwa

Businesswoman and actress Mlotshwa says she is terrible when it comes to making New Year’s resolutions because she ends up changing them as the year progresses. But that won’t stop her from making resolutions for 2016 anyway. “I would like for everything I touch to turn into what I want it to be. I would also like my maternity clothing line, SE Preggoz, to expand throughout the rest of Africa.”

Simphiwe Tshabalala

Kaizer Chiefs captain Tshabalala hasn’t made any resolutions for 2016 as yet, but he says he just wants to keep on working hard on his soccer career and as a businessman. “Most importantly, I just want to make a difference in other people’s lives.”

Robert Gumede

Businessman Gumede, who owns technology company GijimaAST, has simple New Year’s resolutions. The well-connected businessman wants more love, peace and prosperity.

Cassper Nyovest

Rapper Nyovest says his mission for 2016 is to work harder and ignore the politics in the music industry.
