There was a lot to see at the SA Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016 showcase in Hyde Park in Joburg.

The fashion fest was held over five days instead of the usual four because “we felt that the media and audience needed fewer shows and more time between the shows to discuss the collections they have seen”, said director Lucilla Booyzen.

“In South Africa, the designers – unlike in Europe – want all their shows to be in the evening, and running four shows, one per hour, was a fashion overload.”
