Pebetsi Matlaila has been a household name since 2014 when she joined SABC1’s Skeem Saam as Mokgadi. But what many South African fans do not know is that their favourite actress has been weighed down by childhood traumas that messed up her romantic relationships.

Her father constantly physically abused her mother and this affected her badly. Matlaila has now put her experiences in a book titled A Decade in My Lifetime.
