Season four of "Real Housewives of Durban" ended dramatically, setting the stage for what promises to be an explosive reunion.

Despite criticisms that the season lacked the luxury and interesting storylines of its predecessors, it was not short on drama, with allegations of witchcraft, infidelity and alcoholism dominating discussions.

In a statement released by Showmax, newcomers of the show Ameigh Thompson, Angel Ndlela and Zama Ngcobo said they were nervous about their first reunion but were adamant that, that would not stop them from showing up.

Presenter and actress, Ngcobo, in particular, who became known for her role in stirring the pot during her debut season, said she was ready to face the music head-on and "I am not a coward".

She said:

What I said on the show is how I feel. People think I won’t show up to the reunion because I am scared. I am not. I am going to go in there and speak my mind. I will not be intimidated by anyone.

Ndlela, who hated being called the child of the group, shared that watching the show allowed her to discover a lot about herself.

Eager for the upcoming reunion, she sees it as an opportunity to tell her side of the story.

The 29-year-old, who hails from uMhlanga, Durban, and is an aspiring musician, frequently found herself at the center of controversy on the show, where she was often branded a liar. Ndlela looks forward to the reunion as a chance to clarify her actions and statements.

No-nonsense Thompson, who was discreet and rarely opened up, said her experience on the show had made her firmer.

Watching myself has been interesting. The journey has made me realise that I am the person I have always known I am. I have been through a lot as a person and a mom, and I hope that my story has helped other women who are in similar situations. There is a light at the end of every tunnel.

Nonku Williams and Sorisha Naidoo had been with the show since inception, and by now, they know what to look forward to.

Williams said she was still here because she understood the assignment and she was genuine. While Naidoo said she was done trying to make peace where there was none.

JoJo Robinson, who joined the show in season two, says this season has been her calmest yet. Maria Valaskatzis and Slee Ndlovu, both joined the show in the third season and will also be at the reunion after being at the centre of most conflicts this season.
