Nicolene Elhadad, who had no experience in the food industry prior to co-founding Xpresso Café, admits to doubting the venture and getting the jitters before opening the business for the first time in 2016.

"I remember saying to my husband the night before we opened, 'I don't think this is going to work.' And he laughed at me.
