State Information Technology Agency (SITA) has said its IT systems have not been affected after thousands of its employees went on strike this week.
On Wednesday, SITA employees who are members of the Public Servants' Association of SA (PSA) embarked on an indefinite strike as salary negotiations for the 2023/24 financial year stalled. This left government services, including Home Affairs and the South African Social Security Agency, without any technical support.
