The church windows (as the Krauses refer to them) are just about the only feature that they didn’t change when they did their first major renovation in 2013. “We had them refurbished though,” says Elzeli. “The entire house was renovated – we removed the roof, renovated the kitchen, a bathroom was added to each bedroom and the main bedroom was enlarged. We lived in a rented house for a year.”
