1. Mix the water and milk with the sugar and check to make sure it is lukewarm before adding the yeast.
Allow to stand for a few minutes until frothy. Stir in the olive oil and salt, followed by the flour. Stir until the dough comes together in the bowl, then use your hand to press all the dough together in the mixing bowl. Turn out onto a clean work surface and knead for at least 5 minutes until smooth (good exercise!).
