Garden expert JJ gives advice about potted gardens

Ilse Jooste of Klerksdorp writes: I have a lovely spot against a wall on the east-facing side of my property that is just perfect for a potted garden – any suggestions as to what I can plant?

JJ replies: The east-facing side of your property is an ideal spot for having a potted garden as your plants will get warmed up by the morning sun and aren’t exposed to the extremely hot afternoon sun on the west-facing side of your house.
