Review:
I just finished reading Entwined with You…and boy am I tangled up inside and out.
Yes, there is much more of the hot, dominating sex by (our beloved) Gideon Cross and (his beloved) Eva.
We were expecting as much and Sylvia Day did not disappoint. Bodies colliding, hungry mouths seeking, hands claiming… it’s all there and more.
I even cried through one of the erotic sex scenes, but you’ll have to read it yourself to know why.
For the readers who are actually following the storyline, get ready to jump into that Formula 1 car and go as fast as the speed of light. I was very happy to discover that Ava has grown into herself since the second book.
For those of you who have read the second book and therefore know what Gideon did for Ava, it has taken her self-worth to the next level and therefore brings another dimension to this book which I loved.
I have never liked whiney girls who pout to get their ways and Ava is anything but that. She’s strong and has realized that she deserves this god of a man and she also realizes that he deserves her in the same way.
Gideon is haunted as always but it notches up a gear in the third book where it seems that everything he does just isn’t enough to make everyone happy. We see a much more vulnerable Gideon which endears him to us even more. This was a classic “My heart is bleeding” novel.
All in all, I must say, the best for me out of the three.
Now, the torture begins once more waiting for the fourth installment. But that’s fine… I have three books of Cross to get me through the lonely months until then.
