'I wish I had bigger breasts!'

Like men, who agonise over the size of their penises, thousands of women fret about the size of their breasts. And I, like many of them, am less endowed in the chest area.

Whether paging through magazines or surfing TV channels, we’re constantly bombarded with scantily clad women baring voluptuous size 34 DD breasts, barely contained in skimpy lingerie or swimwear. It’s enough to drive me crazy with envy! How on earth can my A cupped "twins" compare?!

But let’s get this straight, I’m not interested in what men think of my breasts and how most of them prefer larger ones a la Minki van der Westhuizen.

I’d just like to be able to fill out v-neck and bikini tops without looking like a flat-chested 11-year-old and feel, sexier.

Even the Wonderbra’s supposed "uplifting" effect fails to work on me, as I stand staring at my bosom in the dressing room mirror; six or seven different bra’s lying about. Is the bra pretty, sparkly and sexy? Yes. Have my boobs been magically transformed into bountiful "melons" like those the Wonderbra model so sexily and confidently displays? Nope.

In a bid to make me feel better, my best friend whispers soothingly: "If your boobs were any bigger, they’d look unnatural on your small frame." I scoff...so says she with the D cups.

Surely one size larger wouldn’t have me looking like Jordan?! Due to religious reasons however, going under the knife is out of the question for me, not to mention the hefty cost involved.

On the other hand, when I think of my friends and family who are "heavily" blessed in that department, like me, they too are dissatisfied. For them, their breasts represent backache, embarrassment and irritation. And breast reduction is a term that is not thrown around lightly.

So are my miniature models really a blessing in disguise?

I’ve resigned myself to the fact that there’s nothing I can do about it and should just accept them... after all they are cute if not "graspable".

How do you feel about your "lady lumps"? Are you part of the "small breed" or D-GG club? Would you have an "upgrade"? Share your thoughts with us in the comment box below.
