Hold onto your hats, Hollywood is reviving yet another hair trend - the bixie.

Just like the lob (long bob), the bixie falls between two hairdos, which is where it gets its name - the pixie and the bob.

The hairstyle, which was popular in the 90s, is "shorter than a bob but longer than a pixie," hairstylist April Peele explains to Popsugar.

"The style offers that sweet spot for clients who want to cut their hair off but aren't ready for the maintenance and commitment of really short hair, or maybe they want really short hair but think they can't pull a pixie off."
