Paris Fashion Week is going ahead as planned despite the worldwide surge in coronavirus cases due to the new omicron variant.
Fashion week is ready to come back in full force, with numerous brands returning to in-person catwalk shows.

The Spring/Summer 2022 Haute Couture showcase will be held from 24 January to 27 January 2022.
Luxury houses such as Valentino, Christian Dior, Fendi Couture, Azzaro Couture and Chanel are among those coming back with live shows.
There were concerns that the event would be forced to go virtual once more after Giorgio Armani announced that he was cancelling his label's appearances in Paris and Milan this season.

When the announcement was made, there were fears that this would start a domino effect and other houses would pull-out but seemingly the show goes on.

But PFW organisers have published the calendar. To kick-start the fashion calendar, Menswear Autumn/Winter 2022-2023 will be on 18 January to 23 January. And then, the Womenswear Autumn/Fall will be on 28 February to 8 March 8 2022.
