  • The bob is making a comeback in 2022.
  • Though it's been around for ages, this hairstyle seems to be sparking interest once again, with many opting to trade in their long locks for a shorter look.
  • But, which bob do you go for? Check out the different options below for some inspo.

Now we know what you're thinking: haven't bobs always been cool?

Well, yes. But according to the internet, they're extra cool right now. So we thought, why not share some inspo for those looking to get in on this revived trend.

For the longest time, when we thought about a bob, they thought blunt, just-about-shoulder-length hair that was not the easiest to maintain. This, my friends, is known as the "classic bob", but 2022 is here to open your eyes up to a world of possibilities.

Get those scissors out, and be prepared to lose some length. From long bobs to shaggy bobs, asymmetrical bobs, and curly ones too, this year, we're doing it all.

Let's start with our curly girls. Chop some layers off those curls and embrace the bob trend. A "curly cut" would do the trick and give you that full, rounded look.

You can never go wrong with this fun, sleek look. But, be warned, the classic bob may not be for the faint-hearted. This hairstyle may require a lot of upkeep, depending on how short you go. But the great thing is, it's easy to grow out.

The chunky braided bob

We love ourselves a braided hairstyle. Why not go chunky and short this season? Play around with the length, colour, and texture of the braids to see what works for you.

For those who are afraid to lose too much length but still want some change, we present, the lob.

Lobs usually fall just below the collar bone, so the great news is, you can still tie it up. Hello, low-maintenance.

The asymmetrical bob

If you're feeling edgy, this one's for you. Not the easiest of hairstyles to grow out, but the asymmetrical bob is definitely a fun one to rock.

The shaggy bob

Usually done with the razor cut technique, this textured hairstyle, which includes blunt, choppy layers, is all the rage right now. Try this one out for a fun, unique look.
