Habits info
Have you heard about Melissa's? They're fab eco-friendly Brazilian shoes made from Melflex, a hypo-allergenic, recyclable and extremely flexible PVC. Cape Town super-boutique, Habits, will be stocking them this winter. We're particularly in lust with these black and tortoise pumps, R1 026, , from the Vivienne Westwood Anglomania for Melissa collection. They've been spotted on the feet of fashion-forward celebs like Katy Perry and Katie Holmes!

80's flash back
Jozi peeps take note, 80's pop legends Spandau Ballet will be performing in South Africa, supporting by Alphaville, one of the biggest bands to come out of Germany in the 80's. (Remember 'Big in Japan' and Forever Young'?) They'll be performing in Jozi at the Big Top Arena in Carnival City on Sunday, the 2nd of this month and in Cape Town at the Grand West Arena on Wednesday the 5th. Tickets range from R275 to R450 and can be booked online at www.computicket.co.za

MAC attack!
Live in Jozi? Drop into Edgars in Rissik Street and you'll find that a temporary M.A.C. store has popped up. Here you'll find all your favourite M.A.C. products as well as highly trained make-up artists to help you meet your match. Better yet, you'll now be able to slap all the goodies you buy on your Edgars account!
If you're a seriyas M.A.C-aholic living somewhere else, be sure to keep an eye out. Word is this fab little pop-up shop won't be the last...

What's cooking, good looking?
This month, the Good Food and Wine Show hits up Cape Town's International Convention Centre on the 13th to the 16th. This year, visitors can expect to get up close and personal with UK superchef, Gordon Ramsay while enjoying other foodie attractions like tastings, food markets and cooking classes. An adult day ticket costs R80 and includes free access to Chefs in Action (safe for Mr Ramsay). To book yours, visit www.gourmetsa.com.

The proudest mani around
To celebrate the World Cup, Essie has launched a 'winning' nail colour collection called 'We're On The Ball'. Featuring six shades that match up to the South African flag, so you can 'colour your nails in the South African spirit and show your support for the rainbow nation in style'. The real gem in the line up? The limited edition Go Green, R89,95, a bright, grass green hue that's sure to turn heads.

Cheers!

Like your brandewyn? Live up country? Get on down to the Standard Bank Fine Brandy Festival. It runs from the 5th to the 7th of this month and takes place at the Sandton Sun hotel in Jozi. Here budding brandy enthusiasts can mingle with regte connoisseurs, distillers and award-winning brandy masters. R195 gets you in as well as a nice big brandy glass, so you can sip your way though the line up! For more information, visit www.brandyfestival.co.za.

What will you be getting up to this May?
