Technology is a normal and important part of our daily lives. It hasn't always been that way but it definitely has become something we rely on more and more.
After watching a rather striking video called 'I Forgot My Phone', these teens admit their true addiction.
The video shows just how obsessed we've become with our smartphones. Tweeting during dinner with our families, recording a birthday party instead of experiencing it. Things we see ourselves and others doing every day.
Watch teens get honest about their own cellphone usage.
Teens with cellphones
It's not uncommon to see children as young as 9 or 10 with a cellphone these days. But is it causing more harm than good? Are unsupervised children with cellphones getting into more trouble than parents are willing to admit? Do your kids walk around like zombies with dull eyes or do you suspect that they may be dabbling in sexting?
Yes, it's true that cellphones are great and useful but listening to the kids in the videos above say things like "I feel naked without my phone" and "I'm always texting when I'm with my friends" is really sad. Especially when I consider that I do exactly the same thing.
But what can be done now that teens are so used to having these powerful mini machines day in and day out? Can anything be done at all? Why not vote below and leave me a few suggestions in the comment box.
Should children or teens have cellphones at all? What do you think?
